DHA Mystery Album

These are both apparently Hooker, SD related, but no other information available. For both the need is to know who from Hooker is connected and how.

For the large photo, also helpful would be the occasion and date, organization, building, town or city, etc.

The small photo is a photo postcard. On the address side is written in ink "at Hehca, So Dak" or at Hekca, So Dak" This might be Hecla, SD. Who at Hooker is involved, or knew someone that was. Are the children inspecting the wreck from Hooker, or related there? While there are livestock cars shown, other freight cars are suggested by the cream cans, oil barrels, and other freight shown.

Correction

In the "In the Museum" photo in the Nov. 11 Enterprise, several items on the shelf were identified as "double boilers." Dale Straney informs this guilty writer that they are "drip coffee makers." "Aint" history fun? The things we can learn. Which is one of the purposes that people read and support the DHA museum.
